When I first started tracking macros, I thought French toast would be off the table—but this version quickly became a staple for me. I swap in protein bread, Fairlife milk, and a scoop of protein powder to keep the flavor while hitting my protein goals. It’s one of those breakfasts that feels like a treat but fits in with my macros at a whopping 70g of protein! The main star of this recipe is the protein bread, packing 10g of protein each.

Ingredients

  • 3 slices Sola protein bread
  • 135ml Fairlife fat free milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar free syrup

Step-By-Step Instructions

  1. Mixture
    • Combine Fairlife milk, egg, protein powder, and cinnamon in a container. Shake or whisk until smooth.
  2. Dip the Bread
    • Fully coat each slice of protein bread in the mixture.
  3. Cook
    • Cook on medium-low heat in a non-stick pan until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Top and Serve
    • Finish with sugar-free syrup, fat-free whipped cream, or any toppings you like.
